Familiar. Every Timelord has one. A protector, a guardian, a friend.

Y/N is the Doctors familiar, they can take many forms as they travel through the Doctors timeline to protect and care for him.

The Doctor has had many companions and many faces, the one constant is Y/N.

The primary gender for the character will be female, however the familiar does not have a gender as they can change shape at will, they choose to take the form of a female as they see the Doctor likes to travel with female companions.

Will travel between 10, 11 and 12 Doctors.
