However, if time can prove anything, it is that sometimes what we need most is not what we could ever have imagined. {-{ NEW chapters released on Thursdays }-} This story takes place in Gotham City, and therefore within the universe of DC (Detective Comics), making it technically a fan-fiction. Regardless, all the characters and storylines are my own work, except for a few Easter eggs which are aimed for DC fans. I strongly believe the world of superhero fiction could use some diversity and that is exactly what I hope to gift you all with this novel! Furthermore, I have absolutely no professional experience as a paramedic or EMT, so I did as much research as I could to try and have a realistic portrayal of this career, but of course it is not perfect.
