'It's been almost a year since the Battle of Hogwarts. Almost a year since Voldemort was defeated. So why? Why was Harry still constantly looking over his shoulder? Why did he still feel like something would jump out of any dark corner to try and kill him? Force of habit, he assumed as he cautiously wandered the halls of the castle he chose to call home once more. You don't survive being at the center of a war and not end up being a bit paranoid. And surviving doesn't mean unscathed.'

Harry spent the past 7 years of his life constantly glancing over his shoulder, always on guard and always aware. Draco spent his whole life playing host and spending time with the most twisted minds the Wizarding World had ever seen. Both have seen and experienced things that would rattle the most experienced Auror's bones. So when they find their mutual trauma and the solution to a good night's sleep, who can blame them for taking it?

Fight For Your Life (A Drarry Story)

13 parts Complete

It's a year after the second wizarding war, Lord Voldemort has been defeated, Harry Potter has come back to Hogwarts to finish his final year of school. Simple with no psychopaths breathing down his neck trying to kill him at every turn, no one trying to hurt him anymore. It's going to be the most normal year he's had. After his breakup with Ginny Weasley he doesn't want to get with anyone who just wants him for the fame. Many girls throw themselves at his feet, many boys try to get into his pants. None of them peak his interest very much. It's nothing with them, he just doesn't feel that pull to them, the pull that makes him want to be with them every second of the day. That's until a familiar pale blond with grey eyes says the right things that makes his heart beat faster and his breathing stutter. Will anything ever be the same in Hogwarts?
