Microtales of Love - The Couple Out of the Closet

Kaushal was standing in front of the mirror and looking at himself dressed up in a crisp black suit. He was nervous and it was evident in his eyes. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath as if he was about to jump off a cliff. At the very moment he felt a gentle hug from the behind.
"Someone looks stunning tonight", said Aayush while planting a kiss on his neck.
"Listen, are we really doing this? Are we really meeting your parents and telling them about us? Why not some other day? Let's call off the plan. We'll just go have dinner with them and never talk about this now."
"Come on, haven't we already talked about all this?", mumbled Aayush still concentrating on placing little kisses on Kaushal's neck when Kaushal stopped Aayush and turned to face him.
"Let's give it some more time. I don't want to ruin your birthday night that you'll be spending with your mom and dad after 5 long years."
Aayush replied, "We have been like this for 4 years now and I don't see why we have to keep hiding this anymore. We both decided we'll do this once we're in town this year on my birthday. So let's just go with the plan."
He smiled and added, "And honestly, I don't think my mom still believes that we're just roommates after the way she saw us holding hands and walking this afternoon while shopping." gently caressing Kaushal's fingers.
Kaushal gave a nervous smile and said, "What if they don't accept this or me? What do we do then?"
Aayush looked Kaushal in the eyes and said, "They will. Mom and dad already love you. They just need to understand that I love you too but in a little different way than they do. So don't you be nervous."
He said as he wrapped his arms around Kaushal's waist.
Kaushal took a deep breath once again.
"Okay babe, let's do this!" he said as he leaned forward and placed his lips on Aayush's.
