Ini kisah tentang seorang Alexandra Hazel Maureen. Seorang gadis keturunan campuran Eropa-Amerika-Asia Timur yang ceria, cantik, polos, dan ramah. Seorang gadis yang ingin mencoba hidup mandiri dengan memutuskan untuk hidup terpisah dengan orang tua dan saudara-saudaranya sejak menyelesaikan pendidikannya di salah satu Junior High School terkenal di Eropa.
Cerita ini akan berlatarkan kehidupan seorang Hazel yang memilih melanjutkan kehidupan pendidikannya di negeri Paman Sam, Amerika setelah menyelesaikan pendidikan Seniornya di negara Indonesia. Salah satu negara di Asia Tenggara yang bertetangga dengan Malaysia. 
 Dan disinilah kisah kehidupan sekaligus cintanya dimulai.
