Avaline Chernoff, or just Av, is a wise-mouthed girl, who struggles staying on the surface, but determined to get her freedom back after being trapped in her household.    General Roua, a changing shining mystery who accidentally abducts Avaline, seems to be bringing Avaline both air to breathe and more unwanted stress.
