Long ago, the fire nation attacked the Northern Air Temple, burning it to ash, destroying the last thing I called home. I watched as my friends, my family burn. I wanted to run to them, help them but all I could do was ran away. I didn't know it would lead to this...

All I could hope was that my twin brother Aang was safe...

A new Air Bender appears, and it didn't take long when a Fire Navy ship arrived the deserted icy lands of the South. I've read quite a few fanfic stories out there and this one isn't very good in comparison, but I'll post it for others who might find it entertaining--it was certainly entertaining to write. Also, I understand a lot of readers don't like stories that follow canon. This one does follow the show for the most part, but eventually digresses, follows, and digresses again. Disclaimer: I own nothing of the world of ATLA, although a few characters were seriously harmed (or killed) in the imagining of this fictional story.
