*Doorbell* 

Nagising ako sa sunod sunod na pag doorbell sa labas, baka si mudrakels na 'to.

Dali dali akong lumabas at tinignan. Nagalak ako sa saya ng makita ko ang mga magulang ko na nasa harapan kona. Tumakbo ako sakanila at niyakap at hinaplos ko sila ng buong pagmamahal.

"Mom,Dad, I miss you so much" as I welcome them.

"We miss you din anak. Btw, how are you?"

"I'm fine ma, my boyfriend always come here to visit me. Kayo po?" 

"Eto miss na miss kana namin, that's why we came here. Uhmmm anna..." sa paghina ng boses niya, parang may gusto siyang sabihin.

"Isasama kana namin ng daddy mo sa US, doon na tayo titira. Ayos na mga papeles mo, we are  need you to approve." 

"Pero ma? Paano na si Liam?"

Hindi na natuloy ang usapan namin ng dumating si Liam na siyang kinagulat nila mommy.

"Mom, this is my boyfriend, Liam Tan" as I introduce my man.

"Are u the son of Kean Tan?" Tanong ni mommy na halos kinabigla ko, hindi ko alam na kilala niya ang tatay niya.

"Yes po, kilala niyo po ba ang dad ko?" 

"Uhmm, yeah" maikling sagot ni mommy.

Mom called me for a second. She said that she want to talk to me. Pumunta muna kami sa kwarto ko at doon napagdecide na mag usap. Kinakabahan ako sa nangyayari, hindi ko alam kung bakit.

I know that sounds like a long time but, I'll be back before you know it. I just have to make dad happy." The boy nods, refusing to cry. 'I have to protect Naomi. I'm alone now.' the boy thinks to himself, determined. His mother stands up and walks away, her feet softly padding down the hallway.
