Taking place in Japan, Makoto is your average teenage boy, who desires to have an average life; A loving girlfriend or boyfriend, excellent grades, and popularity. But when a mysterious new student named Daichie enters the scene Makoto's life seems to fall out of whack. Daichie is everywhere that Makoto looks and he seems to know quite a bit about him as well. While he in turn knows nothing about him. Nicknamed the "Gem" for his flawless features and gently sculpted face, Makoto is well known throughout the school and held in high regard by female and some male students. But his life seems to change the instant fond memories of a past long since forgotten begins to return to him and a love he once harbored blossoms again. This boy really does hate his life ;D
