Parker was in a coma after a rafting accident in November of 2017, waking up a year and a half later, she must put the pieces of junior year that she missed together, and live it up without letting herself feel the aftermath of all that she missed. Will she crack underneath the pressure? Will the party life be too much for her frail body to handle? Will she never feel the same again? Parker doesn't know what she's going to do with her life, but she knows she has a debt that life owes her, and she wants to collect it.

After taking a job as a lifeguard to pass time between her souped up life a freak accident on the beach causes Olivia to put her and everyone around her at risk. When it all takes a turn for the worst, the consequences are life threatening for Olivia. With the incident leaving her helplessly damaged in unimaginable ways, she is unable to work, practice or continue with the few things that make her world go around. There's a lot of talk of failure, cheating, retirement, stupidity. She's going to prove them all wrong. And no one is going to tell her otherwise.
