Insomnia

Lynne aka Jisoo, is a Korean female who moved to America when she was very young. Having no recollection of her time in Korea, she grew up being heavily influenced by American culture.

The summer before her junior year of high school, her parents decided to send her to a popular school in Korea, where she can learn more about her culture and find her true identity.

A little hesitant, but very intrigued, she decided to attend the school not thinking much of it. Little did she know that the culture in Korea was much different and the standards of beauty were higher than in American. She struggled to fit in and became the laughing stock of her school.

Even if she had a Korean face, she would always be an American at heart and there was nothing she could do to change that. She continued to get picked on by the other students, until she met a group of friends who welcome her into their friend group. They too were from America and banded together to make an American friend group. After meeting them, her life changes and it feels just like a dream.
