A century-old vampire who wants life but is dying, meets his dear death in form of a lost pair of eyes and trembling hands. What will he do when his life is slipping from his hands but he can't stop the thought of letting her go.
He made me sit on a large chair, my legs were dangling off, he cooped low and tilted my head to the side exposing the wound and once again touching it softly making me wince I grabbed his large wrists with both of my hands.
"Does it hurt Canopy."
He asked with a stern voice and I nodded my head.
"Shall I make the pain disappear."
He spoke looking into my eyes.
"No, it's fine it doesn't matter my Lord."
He didn't seem to heed my words and grabbed my chin and forcefully jerked my face to the side, his wet tongue licked on my wound, an absurd sensation of feelings griped on my skin and I didn't like it, it hurts a tear slipped down my cheek but after a minute the pain vanished, I jolted up and pushed him away but he didn't budge, he simply looked at me with his scarlet orbs as if he was fumbling through my soul.
"Don't make such a face Canopy, it compels me to make you cry even more."
Ari and Soren's adventures continue as Soren struggles with his new vampiric urges and a coven of witches attempts to recruit Ari for their own ends.
