We all know that growing up in the system sucks. That's not everyone's experience but it's mine. I've had people make promises that they were never able to keep. As a result, I stopped relying on people. The only person you can trust is yourself. The world isn't fair and the sooner you learn that the better off you'll be. This is the story of how I learned that I didn't have to do it all alone.
