Sara Lance was trapped on an island, she eventually managed to escape with a friend, then she ended up joining the Legends because she had been recruited. Before she was recruited to be a Legend, she had joined the League of Assassins, about a two years after that, she died and been revived in the Lazeris Pit, leaving her with what her sister, Laurel calls, "Blood lust." When she joins the Legends, captain Rip Hunter has her help Casandra with her own blood lust after her love dies, but it doesn't go all that well. Eventually, some things went wrong and they all got scattered throughout time. They had a hard time getting Rip to remember himself, and when they do, he ends up leaving Sara in charge of the Legends and the time ship and he starts a Time Bureau. Sara becomes Captain of the Legends and the time ship and they continue fixing the timeline because there is never an end to it.
