Kiley Blake is a 14 year old who is a foster kid. She's been in the foster system her whole life and have been shuffled around to different foster homes. She has never stayed in one too long. In her current home, her foster father beats her. She did her best to hide and cover up the bruises, so no one would notice. One evening, Kiley decides to go to the hospital when her arm starts hurting after her father beat her again. She has a neighbor take her. When she gets to the hospital, she lies and says that her head hurts instead of her her arm. While Kiley is in the hospital, Drew grows fond of her and decides to foster her.
