This is a book about feeling isolated.

Isolated from your family because they don't trust a single word that comes out of your mouth.

Isolated from your friends because they're all stuck in space and you have no means of contacting them. Occasionally they show up in your dreams but that's entirely out of your control.

Isolated from the world because you've been assigned the title of yet another headcase; a victim of trauma so terrifying that you can no longer tell fantasy from reality. If they'd just trust you for five minutes, they'd understand they are jumping to the wrong conclusions.

This is a story about not knowing who you can trust and questioning your own sanity.

...Did you know your memories may have been distorted without you realising? Lance sure didn't. Well... not until now at least.

TW: Anxiety, drug use, depression, murder and a lot of mentions of abuse/kidnapping.

Lance has had a crush on Keith ever since he first laid eyes on him. Keith is totally oblivious to his feelings and Lance is okay with that. He doesn't want to ruin the relationship they already have. Lance hasn't told anyone about his feelings about Keith because he knows they'll tease him about it. He knows that his and Keiths relationship won't ever go past friends, but oh how he wishes it would! Keith never notices Lance staring at him in awe and the times the Lance gets Keith to smile and laugh. But what happens when the one person you love ends up falling for another person and acts like you don't exist anymore? What if that person ends up being the person you saw as your best friend? What happens when you feel that all too familiar feeling of something getting caught in your throat? Or when you cough and you see two red flower petals? Something you wished wasn't real and something you wished wouldn't ever happen to you...happens. "A-Are those flower petals, Lance?" Pidge asks in a worried tone. "Yes..." I respond my voice hoarse and throat raw. This story will involve: Self Harm Deppression Minor death Alcohol Abuse Drug use Profanity Maybe and maybe some smut This book is Modern AU. ...We were so caught up in the shared moment of care free joy to notice the midnight grey Toyota pickup truck speeding directly towards us. Meters before impact dad finally caught on to what was about to happen, despite it being day the approaching vehicle's headlights blinded us as our cars breaks slammed on, the sound of the tires melting away as the rubber tires scraped against the pavement filled the air and the scent of burning rubber overwhelmed my nostrils, despite our efforts the brakes didn't slow us down, we were to late. There was nothing we could do as we collided head on..." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Attempt two at writing a book lmao, summaries without spoilers are not my strong point but here you go: After a tragic child hood accident Astra is left utterly alone, forcing her to make a massive move across the states to live in Tennessee with her grandmother. A few years pass and Astra finds it difficult to deal with the trauma she experienced as a young child, but surrounded by friends and throwing herself into education she starts to heal, until she meets Jason. In the beginning Jason was a kind, caring guy who seemed genuinely interested in getting to know Astra, but not everyone is who they seem to be. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ TW LIST!!!! (there's alot) swearing PTSD/past trauma Character death Violence/ injury detailing Stalking Kidnapping Depression, anxiety Panic attacks Alcohol and drug usage Over thinking Self harm/sabotage Survivors guilt Potential homophobia HEAVY Eating disorders If there's anything you think needs to be posted as a TW then let me know, also please don't read if there is anything that triggers you. Some of these topics are personal, don't be afraid to reach out if you need to talk or ask anything :) Also this is my first solo writing project so any feedback positive/negative is appreciated, writing tips for anything too, hope you enjoy. - jammy :) 24/09/24 - ?

Keith was fine. Lance didn't believe it. C'mon, Keith looked liked he never got any sleep. And he looked liked never ate. Now that Lance thought of it, he hadn't seen him eat in a while. "I'm fine." He insisted everyday. Lance didn't buy it. Now it was time to take action. {Sup, I'm Phanseyelash123. Tell me if I spelt anything wrong. Also, don't own the characters- unfortunately...} {Angst} {Lots of triggers| {Smuttyish} {also, it's kinda a humour but angst at the same time.} {GAY} {wtf is this plot?} {there is no plot. Check out my actual good book: Dirty Paws!}
