If there was one thing no one expected from Delilah Patel's life, it was for her to fall in love.

But she did it anyway.

Delilah is the classic Indian girl; strict parents, rice and curry every night, and a so-called bright future ahead of her.

Her life has been planned for her since before she was born. First she would grow up achieving all A's in every class, then she would get her name changed to a nice Indian name before she attended Harvard. After that she would become a successful pediatrician before she would marry the Indian groom of her father's choice.

Well, Delilah wants the exact opposite.

She wanted to fall in love, but with someone her father approved of. Instead, she fell for a Jewish boy half her size, also known as her best friend. Her father hates him beyond belief, but to Delilah, Adam is the only piece of freedom in her boring life.

Will Delilah listen to her father and achieve the dreams he has set for her, or will she finally do what she wants to do?
