It all started out as one phone call. One phone call that changed the life of Isabelle Adkins.

The phone call from her older sister scared her, and she did not know what to do. But when she had to return home from school in the middle of the day, it only raised more questions.

It turns out there was more that her older sister, by the name of Valentina, has more that she's holding in than she shows, and more secrets than her little sister knows.

But what Isabelle does not know is that her family holds many secrets too, many that have been kept hidden for a while, and what she also does not know is that another family is trying to expose them. So the Adkins family has to unravel their secrets, ones that have been buried since the seventeenth century. No one but the Adkins and the King families know about them, and what they consist of.

Something else? The Adkins have powers. That's right, powers, supernatural ones. They are not considered "normal," as in to have powers, and the world that Belle lives in does not approve of them.

Go with Belle on her journey, from figuring out what happened to her sister, and her sister's disappearance, to the secrets that the Adkins have held for the past four centuries. Ones that have a lot to do with what happened with Valentina Adkins, as well as why she was taken. Secrets unravel, confusion and questions arise, and the feud and fights of two families begins.
