I prefer their friendship dynamics over them actually dating (does this make sense?). I've learnt my mistake, and I apologise for making this whole thing cringy, I've taken notes to never put in actual Korean phrases in my future story. But I can't just satisfy some readers by changing every Korean phrases I've added into English, theres over 20 chapters, the Korean phrases will die down a bit further into the story (I think) and I don't blame you for thinking it's cringy because, I, myself think the same as you do. SO IN CONCLUSION, if you seriously DON'T like it, or you hate it, and you can't stand my cringy ass years ago, than simply stop reading it, don't comment how it was cringy because I've taken notes on that a long time ago, you also don't need to be rude about it because c'mon a lot of us are koreaboos at first when you step into kpop, and if you can't take it, then leave and don't complain, it's simple as that. "You don't love me, you can't love me." My body shakes uncontrollably as I fall to the ground, sobbing into my hands as I try to muffle the sound desperately. "Just let me love you, I can't love you if you won't allow me to idiot," a whisper echoes through the walls as he squats down next to me, placing his hand on my back, rubbing, small, reassuring circles. ... It was never supposed to be like this, why did I let this happen? Hyunjin and Y/n lived in the same neighborhood. They were best friends for the longest time until Y/n was forced to move schools right before high school. Four years have gone by and Y/n grew a new persona. She doesn't smile anymore like she used to, she doesn't wear her hair in pigtails, and she doesn't wear those big, round, glasses everyone used to make fun of her for. When she moved her parents took away all forms of communication from her, thinking that she didn't deserve the love and care she was getting. She managed to keep in contact with one friend because their parents were friends, but she lost all contact with Hyunjin. She felt horrible for it, she cared about him the most and never got to say goodbye like she planned. After her parents kick her out to go live with her grandparents, she moves back to her hometown hoping that no one will recognize her. Hyunjin felt betrayed when Y/n left, she left without a goodbye and didn't speak a single word to him in the past four years. Without her around, he grew close to Chan's group of friends. The summer before high school started, Hyunjin and his friends matured and all the girls in school found them attractive. They fought for the boys attention but Hyunjin only thought of Y/n regardless of all the pining girls. He hated that she constantly ran through his mind, wishing he could just forget about her. As everyone walks into their 4th period, two people catch each other's gaze. One feels guilt bubble up in their stomach and the other boils with resentment.
