(Okay So this is a Nya x Zane story also this is another AU of mine which is basically Zodiac Soulmate AU)
Everyone in Ninjago has their zodiac sign on their wrist and when the soulmates are next to each other the signs glow brightly to alert the two people that they are soulmates but if someone's soulmate is nearby it glows softly but just enough to get noticed but not enough to draw attention to everyone else. Nya is a girl who mildly believes this but she honestly doesn't care since her sign has never glowed once. Zane never really cares about this stuff but when their two signs glow well they realized that they are meant to be together.

The other end of the string is tied to the ring finger of their soulmate. Every time the two people are close, their soul strings will tense up and start dragging them towards each other. When they touch for the first time, the soul string will disappear until they kiss. If your soulmate is in really really bad emotional or physical pain, your soul string shows up black; just as a little bow around your finger. This story is loosely made for the AU, but it isn't a big part of the story. The mentions of the soul strings pop up sometimes, but that's not all they talk about.
