A new type of pet emerges and becomes an instant hit with everyone. They're all the rage.
At least that's what Drake Guillen thought when these "Pet Pods" started showing up everywhere. But when he gets one from himself something strange happens and, because of it, Drake decides he has to get these Pet Pods off market shelves.

"Can't you see that little catgirl through the clear plastic? I know its small, but trust me, it'll grow bigger," Drake sighed, fingering his phone as the ad played through.
"Now all you gotta do is put the pod in water, just be careful with land creatures, if you arent careful to pull them out fast you might drown them!" A warning bar showed at the bottom of his laptops screen; 'warning: PetShow brands is not liable for the death of your Pod Pet.'

It's only after a long and very confusing assessment as well as noticing the bandages around their jaw that he realizes the demon just had some of their teeth removed and has somehow transported itself to your home in their very loopy state. (Animal Care and Rescue) find a new group of humans wandering the ruins of a large city, they think it will be an easy capture. But they soon learn that these particular humans have more willpower than most. They dodge every trap, disappear around every bend, and even manage to take some of the already captured humans with them. The aliens pity these "little creatures"-they just don't want to leave their home, but Earth is falling apart at the seams, and they are determined to take the stubborn little humans to the safety of one of the mother planets.
