The Red

Three years ago, a new and revolutionary health potion got put on the market. It was red, unlike it's predecessors, and healed adventurers and sick folk better than ever before. Soon enough, people learned that if you drank the Red, as it came to be called, you had a euphoric high for a few hours, and you felt invincible.

Nowadays, the world is a sadder, darker place. The rich have bought up almost all of the Red, and the adventurers are dying by the dozen to the monsters of the wild. The sick are dying quicker than ever before, and there have been riots demanding more access to the Red.
