Virgil is trying his hardest, he always does.
But some things you just can't hide and some things you just can't change.
A yearning for someone that he believes he can't have; hiding from someone who he is told that he belongs too.
Thomas has many aspects to his personality, but that doesn't change the fact that they all feel, hurt and love.
His mind is a mess and his heart is on the ground. Can the rest of the sides help figure out what's happening, or are they all, perhaps, a problem of their own?

Through the reveal of Remus, things between the sides have changed. Logan's advice to Thomas has been taken up by Virgil, talking to Patton and learning to grow as a side. All seemed to be going smoothly until Remus tells Roman something not so true ,and with a new dilemma facing Thomas, the sides are busting out the seems of their foundation to try and keep things together. But with a fallout between the repressed and furious feelings eating away at Virgil and Roman, a past that had never seen the light of day, and the wrath of the dark sides ready to break all that was built, the sides have to figure out a way to save all that they have. - #3 on #sanderssides 10-15-19 - I recently got into Sanders Sides and I needed to write a story with Virgil's past ASAP, I hope you enjoy it!Completa

Virgil has the next couple years of his life planned out: he'll graduate from high school and study Graphic Design in college. His roommate will be his best friend, Roman. At the end of college, he'll move into an apartment, get a boyfriend and start his life. But as he gets caught up in how he really wouldn't mind that boyfriend to be Roman, his high school throws a three-day school trip at him and his friends. He gets placed in a cabin with not only Roman, but his two other friends Patton and Logan. The four of them are also in an activity group together, which means that the four of them will be around each other for most, if not all, of the 72-hour period. So, here Virgil is. Stuck far away from home in a cabin with his crush. For three. Whole. Days. [Completed] Sanders Sides human au fanfic. Twin brothers Virgil and Patton Novas have moved around a lot thanks to their father's job. From their father's home country, and their birth place, of Cabo Verde to their mother's country of birth, Ireland. From Ireland to Massachusetts. From Massachusetts to Arizona. After spending several years in a stable environment they're moving again, this time not only are they leaving behind friends but also their mother's grave. Virgil has to convince his twin brother and their dad that, despite his terrible migraines and sometimes crippling anxiety, he won't go down the same road as his mother. On top of having an overprotective family he has to navigate being the new kid in his senior year of high school, making friends, falling in love, and learning how to save a life. How hard can the next nine months be? All he has to do is hold on and convince his new best friend to do the same. I do not own the characters Virgil, Patton, Roman, Remus, Deceit, Remy, or Emile Picani. They belong to the awesome, amazingly talented cinnamon roll that is Thomas Sanders. I also don't like 99% of the music and song lyrics that will make an appearance in this book. I am, however, the proud owner of the hyperactive muse (by the name of Orion who makes an appearance in here) that spawned this story into existence when he was supposed to be helping me work on my other two fan fictions and three original works. Patton lives in a world where the first words your soulmate says to you is written on your skin. The permentant presence of the words 'You're in my seat' on his thigh had yet to disappear until his soulmate utters them one day. Deep down he dreaded that day. You see, Patton had no interest in a romantic relationship which was abnormal in a world ruled by the soulmate system. Virgil hated the soulmate system. He hated it because it gave him the words 'well aren't you a ray of sunshine' printed boldly on his forehead. Luckily for him, foundation was his best friend (and his only friend, for that matter). He never showed it, but he longed for the day his soulmate would sweep the aggravating statement off his forehead and him off his feet. Logan, to put it simply, was married to his work. A love interest didn't interest him in the slightest. The only heed he took that the soulmate system existed was the thinly printed 'what did you say?' on his left palm. He heard that statement a lot but the mild annoyance on his hand was yet to disappear. Roman lived up to his name as a big romantic. In his eyes, the soulmate system was the best thing to happen to him, so the fact that the words written on his collarbone were 'go away' really burst his bubble. The thought of spending his life with his 'other half' was enthralling to him, but the fact his dad expected him to settle down with a nice girl was terrifying.
