Evolution
There are a lot of things you don't really think about until they happen to you. Take rape, for instance. I always thought, "That won't happen to me. I have a boyfriend. I trust him. He would never take advantage of me like that..." I couldn't have been more wrong. Love in this day and age is often confused for manipulation and abuse. The warning signs are here. The things we say will tell us everything that is wrong. You are worth more than what you think you are. It's not your fault. If they tell you otherwise, get out. Burn the bridge. Always remember someone is waiting for you to walk into their life. Someone needs you. Someone loves you. Getting away from all of the wrong people and finding the right ones could save you. I can promise you right now that it saved me. These are the journal entries and selected poems from my first experience of love that left a unpleasant taste in my mouth- quite literally. I am putting this out for the whole world to see because I hope everyone will learn from my experience. People can see. We have no excuses to continue living our lives in ignorance. ...WARNING... The world tells us lies which makes us believe that everything in your life would be perfect, your family, friends, everything. That no matter what everything would be fine....That's just not the truth. Reality of the perfect life doesn't exists. The real world is a terrifying place, and some lives for people are a living nightmare. Sadly, my life was chosen that fate. My strongest weapon was positivity and kindness, being told that in the end kindness and a pure hearted person will be Valued to others and will receive kindness back.....But how long until I break down? Throughout my life I have experienced what it truly means to me excluded, what it truly means to be treated poorly with damaging words and thoughts, what its like to be terrified at night with a fear you were ready to face, what Its like experiencing your memories shattered....and what it's truly like to experience pain. Tired of trying to be everything. Trying to be perfect. Wrong paths and wrong people and missed opportunities. Am I letting my mental illness take over my life? A look into the mind of a BPD, Anxiety ridden woman. With no identity but her Panic. With my ways it's hard to keep down anything healthy, relationships that don't last but stay with me like my own personal demons. And evil around the corner you'd never see coming. The pain changes you. Trauma changes you. It strips you away from yourself. BPD strips away your identity sometimes I guess this is my way of finding myself again, through writing and reflecting and realizing it is okay to be hurting. Wave (Book 2)
I had survived the first. That was then; this is now. The blindfold of so many pills slowly died away and first though my finger then my head, a passion, a hurt and a need filled me as every moment was consumed with words; every breath with wisps of ink. But they were not all captured and somewhere in the deep abyss of living, lies the unspoken, almost unfelt feelings of decades in months. This is the half-empty account off all those nights from December through into the new year and the end of March. ...I pains me to share it. But it also makes it just not my problem anymore and that is something I long for- freedom and peace. we never realize the word we speak can affect our future and our past,the people close to our heart.Sometimes we get carried away with time and we lose who we were and what someone had once meant to us. Is it because of time? or is it because of our will? As I take you through one such journey filled with distance,love,loss, regret and more than that a lesson.
