Naoki's life is a wreck, his mother was a ghoul, and so was his father. How could he be A one eye? His kagune is strange. It looks like a tentacle, normal for now, but, he can only summon one, currently, and it forms anywhere on his body, he normally uses his hand . he prefers not to kill (So he goes to Anteiku) but he sometimes has to. His life is pretty normal, until investigators start specifically targeting him.
Goro, as a 2nd rank, he had a partner, lizbeth Jaro. Now, she is the director, good for her... right? not for Goro, especially because he wants her job. And he will do anything to get it... Even if it means killing his best friend

By the time he retired he decided on moving to Tokyo where he quickly picked up Japanese. With the money he got from the military he bought a small bookstore that had an apartment just above it. The area of Tokyo be lived in had very few if any ghoul attacks. His view on them changed over time as he'd be rescued by one on his way back from a store.
