They were pulled from their homes, forced into a school in a foreign land.
Punished for speaking their language and practicing their traditions. They were despised for who they were raised to be. They were the bane of existence.
Athena Milaki. An orphaned werewolf from only the civilization in the world holding the most ancient breed of wolves. They are known as the Fengári, or the moon wolves.
They held different characteristics than the rest of the world and they were the only people to have these traits. Known to behold gifts that normal wolves could only dream to possess. Making them the strongest civilization of werewolves for centuries. This was supposed to keep them unharmed.
Until, the king of the new world, Alpha Eric Wood, took a means to change that. Taking 100 children known to be any part of the bloodlines, and breaking their will. Then, another 100 were brought in to join them.
When his son Apollo Wood, takes over not long after, nothing changes. If anything, it worsens.
What will happen when Athena takes a stand to protect her people after so long? The scars cannot be removed but maybe the wounds can be healed. Now she only hopes to try.

I would never wish this on my worst enemy, and it was happening to my mate. Just as I thought I couldn't handle more, my heart skipped a beat, a pain I never wanted to feel again, as my entire body shut down.
