Torn between the want to protect her friends at all costs and the voice that screams at her to stay with them, an angel who is convinced she is nothing more than a monster struggles to keep the mess that she has become zipped up in the clothes that her best friends force her into, and to suppress the voices that are drowning out all other thoughts- including the ones that suggest her unwelcome feelings towards a certain shadow hunter.  

Although, along with battling herself and the tedious, never-ending war with Valentine, our angel learns that as she and her friends continue to hunt down the world's shadows, she has something far worse hunting her, and it will stop at nothing to get what it wants.

STAND ALONE FANFICTION I've given up editing this because it's honestly so cringey reading through this so please read at your own risk. Advice: I recommend you read every book of the Mortal Instruments, the Infernal Devices, and the Shadowhunter Academy, or else you will be spoiled. It has been a week since the marriage of Jocelyn Fray and Luke Garroway. They're off on a two week long trip to the Bahamas for their honeymoon while their daughter, Clary Fray, is at home continuing her studies as a Shadowhunter. When Clary catches Jace in the act of cheating, she runs away. But when she soon returns, secrets unveil, and the young Shadowhunters from the New York Institute soon find themselves in the middle of yet another threat. Join Clary, Jace, Simon, Isabelle, Alec, Magnus, and many more in this fan fiction adventure that occurs after City Of Heavenly Fire All characters (except for a few I made up) and some places belong to author Cassandra Clare! Also, some scenes I use also belong to author Cassandra Clare because I took them out of the book to make my story as close to the real book as possible! This is just a fan fiction I made up that I thought would be fun to tell! This story does have some pretty strong language and mature scenes, so please read at your own risk. Clary finally graduated high school and has a great start in her acting career. Clary's best friend, AKA a Victoria secret model, Izzy, is always there for her. As they grew older Kayla grew feelings for Alec, as did Alec. Soon they started dating and have been since. The four shadow hunters' daily life was the same, they went on a missions and killed demons. That was until Clary Fray came along. What will happen once she comes along and finds out that she is a shadow hunter herself like her mother and learns about the shadow world. What will happen when they find out Valentine is still alive and has Jocelyn Fray; Clary's mother. They and The Clave will do anything to get their hands on the Mortal Cup; the most important thing in the shadow world. Before downworlders do, better yet before Valentine does. Everyone wants The Mortal Cup and it's up to the shadow hunters and Clary to find it. Secrets will be unraveled and trust will be broken.
