As the crown princess, Yuna has it all.  She lives a life of luxury in the capital city.  Her father, the King, loves her dearly.  Her kingdom is finally at peace, and her best friend has returned from the war at the border to serve as her guard.  Everything is going perfectly . . .  until the night of her eighteenth birthday.  

When Yuna's celebratory day dissolves into a politically-motivated massacre, Yuna must flee her home and the capital.  Exiled, the only things standing between Yuna and certain death are her best friend and an ancient pact that her family made with four dragon guardians, each of whom wields unimaginable power.  If Yuna can convince the four dragon guardians to lend her their strength, she might have a chance at survival.  

She might even have a chance at reclaiming her father's throne.
