Based off of Destiny the video game, these short journal entries are to be the origins of my guardian before the collapse. How did I come to be outside the cosmodrome that fateful day? And why did the ghost choose me as his guardian? Let's find out together.

Through Time and Light [Cayde-6 Fanfiction]
The story follows Olivia ("Liv"), a dedicated Destiny 2 player who feels an unspoken connection with Cayde-6, the charming, rogue-ish Hunter Vanguard. After one particularly long night of playing and rewatching the cinematic where Cayde meets his tragic end, Liv falls asleep wishing she could change his fate. Christian looked down from the creature looming before him at the gun in his holster. Engraved on its side were the words, "Until the last flame dies and all words have been spoken" "It's time to draw guardian, one last time." The hunter looked up at his ghost then looked back down again, "Ya know, I always thought it was called 'The Last Word' because it ensured the wielder he'd get it, but I think I understand now... It's my Last Word." And with that, he put his hand on his holster and stared death in the face, without fear or hesitation. Bored to death and worried about memory wipes, Cayde-6 has his Ghost start taking video logs on a random basis. Not long after this fact, a new hunter is brought back to life. She's uncertain, brash, and cunning as hell, and the Exo see potential in her he hasn't seen in years. She's a human and a rookie, but she was his rookie. He was going to make her shine. Another universe... Another Earth to be exact, one where it took them to what the Pre-Golden Age of Humanity looked like before the Traveler made its arrival to their solar system. In this new universe? He has no idea of the new journey he embarks himself on as he meets new allies who are heroes with or without superpowers, whether they're alien or not, and new enemies who are also human and alien, but nothing like he's ever faced before. But he also meets someone he ends up potentially falling in love with, a girl who is exactly his Guardian age of sixteen, the girl however... is an alien, a "Kryptonian". With his accidental arrival to this "New Earth" dimension, things begin to change as his influence stays within it, as the battle between Light and Dark begins to break into this other Earth, bringing forth new enemies for these heroes to face, but all too familiar enemies for the Guardian to face once again, along with his own allies to assist him and his new-found friends and allies. He has to lead the guardians to save his mentors before it is too late. Will time stay on his side? Or was it just a little too fast for him?
