There are these two kids that discover a deserted island after they fall through a portal. They try to find ways to get out of the island but then they discover that the portal won't appear until two weeks. They are stuck on the island and they meet someone who shows them around the island and they become friends with this person. The person shows them what food are good to eat and then they live on the island until the portal appears. Before the portal appears the two kids have a couple of adventures on the island.
