Peggy Linders never wanted to fall into the Drake's hands. To plunge headfirst into the waters of the criminal underworld. She would've been just fine in her stupid, dull life with her stupid, dull school and her absolutely lovely friends and having never befriending Jack Spencer.

But now her hands are stained with every sin imaginable. And the only way to survive is to dance with the devils themselves.

---------------------------------------------------------

You'd think, with your older brother dying of poison and your father burning away in a car crash, that it'd end there, right?

Well, it didn't for Peggy Linders.

A monster, a gang boss, a lean, calculating dragon of unholy means then intrudes into Peggy's life and thrusts her into a criminal world full of blood and guts where the liner 'If you can't beat 'em, join 'em' takes a whole other meaning. And in this context, you're always beaten.

And Peggy thought that, yeah, it can't get too bad, right?

But then Jack Spencer, one of the school's most well-known kids around, turns out to be wading in that world as well, and holy hell, everything spirals from there.
