Everyone knows how the cast system works. If you're a 2 you're a model or soldier etc... a 5 performing arts anything lower is hard labor. We all heard stories about 7 and above entering and winning the competition, so what about an 8; usually, they're not mentioned because they are the lowest of the low, that's where Melody Stirling comes in.
Born an 8 but what no one knows is that she actually works as a very renowned and worldwide known seamstress, no one knows her identity that's not her only talent either. In all her life she couldn't believe that she a lowly 8 could ever be picked to compete in the selection.
Prince Daniel Schreave is Queen America and King Maxon Schreave's son. Just turning 23 it's time for another selection.

Originally, It was a all girls school. Ages go from 17-21, unless there was a certain tragedy in their family like a death or invasion etc, then they would be sent back before their training is done. Wolfshore is more of a match-making school, where young princes are sent to find wives. When a prince arrives, he is faced with two choices. Either choose a royal to marry from the line up or stay, and complete training, while getting to know everyone and observe all his choices. Stephen Curry, Prince of Belgium, choose to stay and observe his options. He wasn't in a rush to marry anyone. He never really asked to be born into a monarchy. All he wanted to do was play basketball and discover other hidden talents he had. He wanted to learn more about himself, and make friends. Tae Saldana, Princess of Costa Rica, Was the new princess at school, and every guy had his eyes on her. She was sent there against her will, much like every other person there but there was something different about her. She rejected marriage. She rejected everything about being royal. Previously known as 'my selection' in the books it's maxons selection but what if it was the other way around? in this story, it's America's selection.
