Artemis and her twin brother Apollo were told the truth of their parentage from a young age. They knew about how their mom was rejected by the Alpha of the The Dark Moon who happened to be her mate but before he rejected her they had sex and after the rejection she ran and was taken in by another pack only to find out she was pregnant and to meet her second chance mate. Artemis and her brother are now 16 and thats when a new Alpha takes over. She and her family now plan on leaving to her fathers pack even though her mother doesn't like the idea but its Artemis's birth right as the eldest child. The Masquerade
Every year for the past hundred years, there has been a masquerade ball that was held where all wolves found their mates, in particular, Alpha Landon, a twenty-three year old that is the Alpha of the Blood Moon pack.
