My name is Amelia Roseman. I'm a pretty quiet, agreeable person. I like music, reading, and writing. I'm friends with mostly everybody and if I'm not your friend we still get along. But theirs one thing about me that people didn't realize or didn't want to acknowledge. I'm strange. Odd, peculiar, or quirky could also be used. When people started to become zombies I still wanted to be their friend. So I guess I can say this is were are story begins.

They would watch as she went back to her beach house, as she went out of her way to stop and chat to her neighbours, as she would get the perfect grades. She was everything you wanted to be, and yet nobody had gotten close enough to her to understand her life in this small town at all. When her plans of leaving suddenly change, and she is forced to start attending the local school, her life takes a route that she hadn't accounted for. A new group of friends, a chance at a normal teenage life, even a potential love interest - things that Amelia had never even thought about happening after everything she'd been through. But happiness is only temporary in her life, and she knew that. It wasn't surprising to her when her past began to catch up with her present, it was simply a good thing that it had taken as long as it had.
