there's a reason, why every spacefaring and space capable race, has the same saying. and that's saying translated into every known language, simply states, don't piss off the Old Ones.

most have never seen an Old One. of the few that have, even less have ever spoken to one. No one alive today has seen an Old One even mildly upset let alone pissed off. yet everyone remembers the story of the last time someone pissed off an Old One.

the universe has one less Galaxy in it because of that. and we are lucky there is so much empty space between the galaxies or there might have been more damage.

Of The intergalactic species, nobody flies anywhere near where ~that Galaxy~ used to be. The radiation levels and the hazardous debris and the distortion to just about every kind of matter and energy in the area, makes it the most hazardous place known to any kind of life.
