||True Colors | Splatoon Fanfiction | Agent 3 x Agent 8 ||
Inkopolis has just been saved once again by the Squid Beak Splatoon. Agent 3 feels suspicious about the new agent, agent 8, an Octoling. Being on many missions herself, fighting Octolings like him, she can't help but get the feeling that something about him isn't quite right. Agent 8 feels unsure and unwelcomed to the city as he is forced to hide his identity as not all inklings accept Octolings into their home. Not only that, but he also has a problem with getting along with Agent 3! But what happens if a mysterious, unknown threat comes toward the surface, threatening to destroy both Inkling and Octoling kind alike? Can the agents work together to save their race? Or would their city population be washed away for good? _________________ This story takes place after the events of Octo Expansion Hi and welcome to my 2nd book! First of all thanks for reading this and I hope you'll stick to the end and find the story entertaining. Secondly, I am a big fan of Splatoon though I am still a bit of a newbie to it. Most likely I could miss out on certain details so don't hesitate to point those out to me. I'm also open to any more suggestions to improve this fanfiction. Note that as I make and add new chapters to this book and gain new ideas, there are possibilities that I could make a few small changes to previous chapters. Anyways enjoy reading!Complete
Agent 38: In The Making
Heyo! This is my first Splatoon fanfic here, so I hope it's not too cringy. A bit of swearing (maybe), but overall, pretty friendly (I hope). I'd say 10+ for ages. And none of the photos or characters that are in the book belong to me, unless I say so. Anyway, on to the description. (Cover is credited to @ThatSaltyMango) Startled and afraid, (Female) Agent 8 fights for her freedom against (Male) Agent 3 after abandoning her squadron that was supposed to lead the getaway to Octo Canyon. Out of nowhere, they're both suddenly knocked unconscious and wake up in a dark lab, about to be sanitized. Will they escape? Find out. Reached #1 in Splatoon at some point during 2021 93,287 words (yes, i calculated dw), not counting the 7 intermission/notification chapters. (20k views as of Monday, May 1st, 2023) Edit (June 19th, 2023): guys the first like 20 chapters is THE cringiest stuff i have ever written or thought of please. disregard my 10-11 year old self's ideas and maybe just skim read until chapter 24 yk?? to save my dignity??? please??? also i might do a remake of this just bc i McFlippin can ok. also cuz the first 20 chapters make my eyes bleedComplete
Order Up - Splatoon3 Side Order
(Agent 4 is referred to with They/Them pronouns so the reader can imagine them as their own customized version of Agent 4!) Welcome to the Memverse! In a colorless world of order, Agent 8 and their team destroyed Order itself and reduced it down to a being called Smollusk. After climbing the tower with each palette, every soul Smollusk absorbed into the Memverse were freed. Everyone is finally back to normal! "Huh? That's weird... you're not like the other enemies coded in here. Why can't I get a solid read on you? Whoa! You can talk? No, no, I can't actually hear you. But I can see lines of dialogue in your code that come and go. Crazy, right? It's like I'm reading your mind! Whoa... so "Order," the AI that runs this place, turned you into that thing? A "Parallel Canon"... Well, if that's true, you can count on me to help you get out of this crazy virtual prison. What did you say your name was? Agent 4? That doesn't sound like a real name... Amnesia, eh? That's rough. Well, maybe you'll remember once I get you outta here...Well, as long as we're using aliases, you can call me H4CKER! Hey, we both have 4's! That's how you know we'll be a good team! So, are you ready to kick some virtual butt? ... I'll take that silence as a YES!"Complete

The troubles of knowing yourself
Sequel to "Did you know you're my hero?" Anyone who knew Eight well knew several things by heart: one, she was incredibly timid. Two, she had her memories taken in the metro and was too traumatized by her time there that she hadn't bothered with getting them all back. Three, she had a veritable BOATLOAD of PTSD. Scratch that, make it a TRAINLOAD. There was more than that worth knowing, but that was a good rundown for new friends. But whatever, she had plenty of understanding friends! Cuttlefish was always willing to lend his shoulder and his jacket to cry on, Off the Hook were practically her moms at this point, and now she had Three! Well, she liked to think she always had Three as a comfort, but it was different now! Closer! There was still a lot about herself she didn't know...but at the end of the day, she knew one thing for certain. If whoever she used to be was someone Three felt comfortable pointing a gun at? She was fine with not being them anymore.Complete

Gn-Gnarly Ed-Ed-Eddy... (A Splatoon 3: Side Order Fanfiction)
I couldn't see anything before I saw him. I didn't know what he was, nor did I really want to know. He came to me like an angel, a backdrop of white light as he told me of his vision for a greater future. A future that would be perfect for octolings like me. A future of Order. I woke up in my body, but it didn't feel like it. Then, I woke up again. And again. And I kept waking up until I realized that I was not just myself anymore. I was many versions of myself, all following the same basic directive. Stop Agent 8 at all costs. ~~~ Series of Splatoon 3 fanfiction mostly based on the Side Order DLC. Major Spoiler warning for Side Order. Content Warning for NSFW content and some violence.Complete
