What if Tony Stark has a daughter. And what if said daughter was secretly a s.h.i.e.l.d agent.
Ryan Maria Stark was never big on putting herself out there because she could never tell when someone was just being nice to her because of who her father was or if they truly wanted to be her friend. She was always a good kid unlike her father. But all that changed when Tony got kidnapped in Afghanistan when she was 18. After her father had returned she made the decision to join s.h.i.e.l.d without her dad knowing. And after a certain soldier is found frozen it's Ryan's job to get him readjusted to life in the 21st Century. What happens when the trickster god decides to take over the earth? How will Tony take finding out his baby girl has been putting herself in danger for 4 years without him knowing it. What happens when Steve and Ryan get feelings for one another? Will they ever get the courage to tell the other?

Mercedes Stark was the only daughter of Tony Stark. She was very unplanned, and he had her when he was rather young, but he didn't really have to raise her. He had many nannies and such to care for her, but that didn't make the girl care for her father any less. Like her father, Mercedes was rather smart, meaning she could do practically anything with ease. Mercedes graduated college at the age of eighteen, becoming one of the world's youngest doctors. She was actually a certified surgeon, but she also had degrees in other fields to do with computers, medicine, robotics, and things like that. As soon as she had graduated, she was able to get a job as a doctor for S.H.I.E.L.D. Her father didn't know about her job, but he knew she was working as a doctor somewhere. Mercedes kept quite a bit from her father, one thing being her boyfriend. He didn't know of the man his daughter was in love with. He didn't know that the man was almost eight years older than his daughter. He didn't know that the man was an agent for S.H.I.E.L.D.
