An angel named Annita is just trying to blend into the human world. Everything is going great, she is in college, making friends, and getting great grades. Maybe living in the human world isn't so hard after all. 

A few months after getting into a pretty good routine, she feels as if something is different. She shakes it off, thinking it is nothing, but then she meets Kell. The first non-binary person she has met at this school. They're pretty cool and really sweet to her, but what will she do when she finds out they are a demon that was cast out of Hell?  She soon grows feelings towards Kell too. Will Annita risk it all to help them, or will she turn her back on this new friend? Will she ever tell them how she feels? It doesn't take long to realize that it's just not possible. Maisie is everything that she shouldn't be in the human realm. Bigoted, rude, and annoyingly difficult. She can't even get close to Cecilia without making some sort of remark on how she can't stand Demons. As the time ticks down and options become less and less, maybe being handcuffed to each other will teach Cecilia and Maisie a thing or two about themselves.
