Katsuki wakes to find himself reset. It's a time when quirks are just starting, and he only remembers a bit about happened the first time. He remembers enough to know Deku is someone he hurt a lot. He remembers enough to know he had to watch Deku fall. He remembers enough to try to make things better this time.
[There is violence/blood depicted, as there is in canon. This is action/romance, but if you want smut, you won't find it here. Also, there is swearing. Lots of swearing.]

Bakugou Katsuki could have just left him there, he knows, but something pushed past that and led to his former best friend sitting on the couch, explaining everything that happened to him. He doesn't know how to feel, especially when he learns that he's falling in love with the boy he'd previously bullied.
