3 queens come to power, all of their predecessors murdered. Saamir is determined to be her father's daughter in every way, to navigate the manipulations of court and rise to be a queen to be remembered. Ilyana is trying to hold herself together as her mother's backstabbing advisors vie for the throne that she never wanted, but must now fight for to keep her kingdom and her family's legacy safe. Asena would rather be back on the battlefield than in the treacherous waters of her brother's court.
With the world against them, the three queens will come together to discover truths that had been buried long ago, and perhaps should have stayed that way.
