"Are monsters born or made?" What's your idea of a demon? Of someone who is 'evil'. Long, sharp black claws? Eyes full of black with a ring of terrifying blue? Pointed ears like some twisted form of an elf? Pointed teeth made for tearing flesh? Is that a demon in your eyes? Am I a demon in your eyes? Because I sure am to everyone else. My name is Akumu Gesshoku, I now attend U.A, and I have been bounced from foster home to foster home, and finally I grew sick of the abuse that came with each new home. 'You're a demon! You're a nightmare! You're never going to be a hero! Hah, a hero? More like a villain! Go kill yourself already, villain!" I had heard it all, and with the verbal abuse always came physical. So when my latest abuser died in an 'accident' that no one seems to want to talk about, I ran. I ran, and I ran and I ran until I was far away from the authorities. I was on the run for three years before I was caught, and threatened with juvenile prison, unless I was well-behaved. And that was it. I was shoved in with the previous abuser's sister, and told that this was it. This was my last chance. My last chance to not be the monster everyone claims me to be.
