After unexpectedly giving birth to twins, Hayden is devastated to find that the baby she was expecting didn't make it. Convinced that the baby was murdered by her abusive ex-boyfriend, and resentful toward the baby that made it out alive- she has a hard time adjusting to her new role as a mother until she disconnects herself from reality. Disconnecting from reality comes at a price though. Hayden has convinced herself everything is perfect, but behind the scenes? It's a different story.

This is the story of Jenalyn, a girl broken by a system that was meant to protect her. Trying to fend for herself in what seems like a world out to get her is rough enough; but trying to do it with Dissociative Identity Disorder is almost impossible. Now add on the fact that one of her personalities is a sex addict she calls her "Monster," and she suddenly finds herself in love with Dane, an older man in charge of a slew of nefarious activities. Jenalyn has been with Dane for a little while now- enough to know that he's the boss, and unless she wants a beating or to get booked with his pervy clients, you don't mess with him. But Jena's sex addiction makes it hard for her to stay loyal. Impossible, actually; and with her personalities shifting what seems like a mile minute it only causes her to spiral even further. Bad decisions are made, and worse consequences follow, leaving her with one thought: how can she get out? When she wins a singing contest and gets the opportunity to fly out to California to work with her idol, will that change the game? Or will it only start another bad chapter? This story is intended for a mature audience.
