Cayde is a part of the Kimlascan Pack, a pack that resides at the base of a tall mountain and cherishes the name of Kimlasca, the original Wolf of Harmony from thousands of generations ago.
Cayde has dreams of becoming an Alpha. There are multiple Alpha wolves already in the pack, with the Master Alpha, Vandescelda, leading the entire pack.
However, in order to become an Alpha wolf, Cayde must endure the Trial of the Mountain, where he must climb to the top of the tallest mountain, starting from the base of the mountain where his pack resides. Upon completion, one is given the rank of Alpha.
But during this trial, with the help of the Master Alpha, Cayde discovers his true purpose, and sets out on his own journey to discover his destiny, his own path, and the ways of Harmony.
This is a tale of discovery, hope, and sacrifice.
