Self-proclaimed outcast Félix Domínguez-Jackson is having a hard time going back to school for year 11. After all, he accidentally came out over the summer, and St Andrew's Church of England Secondary School isn't the most progressive place on Earth. He has his friends - Kathrine, Aylin, and Sean - and don't get him wrong! They're great! But Félix wants a change from the "all eyes on you" phase. Alfred Ellis (a new student, and an actual outcast) is feeling somewhat the same. And his anxiety isn't helping. (Not to mention Félix has a huge crush on him.) After an incident forces Félix to help Alfie around school, they discover their shared love of music, film, baking, and each other.
