Ilon Tichy - inżynier wojskowy, członek oddziału sabotażowego Unii Południa bierze udział w ściśle tajnej misji mającej na celu przechwycenie lub zniszczenie transportu nowej broni mogącej przechylić szale zwycięstwa, długiej i wyniszczającej wojny, na stronę wrogiej Konfederacji Północy. Niestety tajemniczy arsenał został przypadkowo uruchomiony. Oddział został rozniesiony. Przeżył tylko Tichy oraz John Herb. Postanawiają udać się w ponad stukilometrowa podróż aby ostrzec Unie przed nowym wrogiem.

Runaway
I've been on the run for three years. I'm not the first, but I certainly won't be the last. For as long as I can remember, I had been experimented on, drugged to the brink of insanity, and tortured by someone I thought was my family. Boy, was I wrong. This isn't one of those stories where I suddenly get a huge boost of courage and defeat the bad guys then live happily ever after. I don't believe in that stuff anymore. Instead, I was a coward, and ran for my life, for my freedom, because I was too afraid to stand and fight and risk losing control like the monster they had created me to be. I've been too many people, have moved too many times. Now, I wonder if I will finally be able to find a place to call home... I won't allow myself to be captured before I even have a chance at that. Because if do, I'm as good as dead. © Sweetslover8 ~August 26th, 2013 ***Please note that the following is a work of fiction. Storm Of Pain
Have you ever seen your life flash before your eyes? Seen all the good memories with you and your friends and loved ones just pass in a few split seconds before the moment comes where you know you'll die? Where you determine if it's going to be a quick or slow and painful death? Well then, same. I risk my life on a daily bases saving others, strangers, kids, families, anyone my team and I can help ranging from terrorist attacks to bombs to pretty much anything. The training that I received a few years ago allows me to do that, it allows me to be the best person that I can be, if I could go back to the day I joined the military I wouldn't change a single thing; the only thing I would've changed in my journey is to have looked after her better. To have kept her safe. But life had other plans with both of us... ***** All ideas in this book are thought of by me. Nothing has been based of another book. If something is the same as another's, it purely coincidental. *Don't copy from my book *Don't report my book because of a few violent scenes *My book is copyrighted.
