Amelia awakes surrounded by unfamiliar faces. They had been surviving there since this whole mess started, and found Amelia knocked unconscious. Over time, she and Carl become friends, and then something more, but Carl likes to shut people out-- he says it's for both of their own good, but is it really? What's even the point of surviving for Amelia if she has amnesia and the boy she thinks she's in love with just isolates himself?
