Mami finds herself in a city called Haven City. There she meets a friend name Jak, who is in the middle of a war between the Metal Heads and the Death bots. This takes place during the time where Homura finds her, but Mami and Jak tell her she must find Lief, and tell her what trouble is going on in Haven City. After Homura leaves, Mami stays in Haven City to help Jak fight the war. As the two become closer, Mami finds new rivals, a girl name Ashlin and Kiera. With the three girls fighting together and against one another, Mami learns the secrets of Jak. When Count Veager tells Mami that Jak is a freak, she doesn't believe him, thus making the council wonder about Jak and Mami.
