Mature
An eighteen-year-old, young man who goes by "Jonesy" to those who know him has grown so very bored of his stagnated day-to-day. The same repetitive cycle of sitting around the same boring home, interacting with the same small clutch of friends has lead to them finding some interesting ways of passing the time. Jonesy, though, never really bought into the whole "devil worshiping" thing from the start. It was more about a change of pace from the tedium.
Or, that's what he likes to tell himself.
Weeks of unremarkable attempts at summoning a creature from the underworld to do their halfhearted bidding come to a head on yet another dull, autumn evening with the arrival of a fire-haired "Princess of Hell" who goes by only one name; Etna.
Things quickly slip out of hand when she makes abundantly clear that her lengthy trip from home has a singular focus. A goal which only Jonesy knows full well the deeper meaning, and consequences, of, even if he is yet unwilling to admit this to himself.
His new companion, however, will ensure that he remembers every instance in which he sought her return from memories long since repressed, but not forgotten. When that reminder comes in the form of the Devil's adorable, young, millenniums-old niece, he finds himself unwilling to deny her promise to once again become his Everything.
They say that the Devil sees all and forgets nothing...
		So does Etna.

"The curse entailed that only the blood that sought yours, can free you of the curse, until then you shall be asleep." Icarus smirked at her words, he knew where this was going as she continued, "Because your blood is-" "Poisonous and repulsive." She nodded. "So, it's unbelievable that she was the one whose blood sought yours, a human, but it did, or perhaps it was your blood that sought hers...," she mulled over it. "But it's wrong, against the natural-" she observed his gaze. Talking about some natural order of the universe was not something that would befit his ears, given that he was the very example of the abomination formed against the natural laws and order of the blood. ~~ No one knew who he was, or where he came from? But he did, and he conquered all the existing realms, hidden and not so hidden from the human world, and built his kingdom upon the ruins of his enemies. Yet, he remained a pariah. Always was. Always will be. He was Icarus. The Monster. The Legend. The Evil. The Pariah. ~~ Everyone knew her to be a scared little kitten. She looked like one too with her snowy white hair, cerulean blue eyes, and a questionable fate. ~~ What was supposed to be a ridiculous adventure, suggested by her equally ridiculous brave friend turned her life into a whirlwind of crazy and bloody, when she stumbled and accidentally awakened the sleeping, ravenous, and absolutely psychotic monster, Icarus. What made her the lucky woman to jostle him out of his centuries of sleep? As a thanks, she was rewarded with the title of being his most beloved SLAVE. Dive into their journey as we unravel their ribbons of fate, and immerse ourselves into their complicated relationship. ~~ This book is a dark fantasy romance novel and Icarus is an original fantasy character that I created. He is not a vampire or a werewolf but something entirely new and interesting.

The darkness of the past catches up to the present and looms over the future. The now-grown undead god meets someone from his past for the last time in his infinite life. An ancient artifact that unlocks a hidden ability comes into his possession and will stay with him throughout his infinite life. Excerpts: Hearing that title broke him from his mental preoccupation. _Oh, no. Not her. Not with these people._ Glancing around the table, he saw that everyone was looking at him, overtly and covertly, watching and waiting for his reaction. ... The young god stood up in excitement. _It just talked to me! I'm talking to it! This is so weird. What else can I ask it?_ ... _What should I say? I should say something, right?_ "Umm... Hi!" he managed to say. He stopped himself from wincing at his awkward greeting as he felt every eye in the room on him and maintained a casual and relaxed facade. _'Hi'? Really? After not seeing her for so long, all you can say is 'Hi!'? Say something else._ "I came here to see you." _No, idiot. Say something less obvious._ "And, uhh, talk to you." _What's wrong with you, self?_ ... "I don't know. I don't really know what to do anymore. I've done terrible things to him but I don't know anymore if I did the right thing."
