Ever have those moments when you doubt your words....like does it sound right ...or should I really say this well I just want to tell people to speak their minds because words can make a drastic difference. To fight for what they believe and be confident. Having said that, this is my first poem written here. Hope you like it!! :-)

"Calm down", she said and embraced me. When I was calm enough, she withdrew from my embrace and looked into my eyes. I couldn't miss those words her eyes spoke. "Run away!", they screamed at me but I couldn't move. This time they really meant for me to run, how could I run when I was trapped by their beauty. ***Losing both parents on her birthday, Josephine never imagined her life to turn out this way. Having a dangerous tracking device implemented in her by her uncle, she was not safe ***She lived with her uncle where she was abused daily. She met a friend who showed her the true meaning of love happiness and friendship. Having given happiness a chance, would it change her life for good or for bad? Keep reading to find out..
