"Get away! Don't touch me!" I warned. Though I couldn't help the tears that began to form in my eyes out of fear and the pain in my wound. "I ain't gon' to hurt you, miss." His southern accent was thick, yet endearing. His teeth slightly crooked, but cute. The tone of his voice was calm and low. He was a soft-spoken man.
